Rates are indicative mid-market rates refreshed once a day from public data. The converter screen shows how long ago they were updated. They are not live trading prices.

Alerts are checked after each daily refresh and fire once when the rate crosses your target. Check that notifications are allowed for Pocketrate in your phone settings and that the alert switch is on. After it fires, an alert re-arms when the rate crosses back.

Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account or Google account you subscribed with. If nothing is found, the app tells you.

On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Pocketrate Pro. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

Pocketrate Pro removes the banner ads. It is an optional subscription at $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year, and it also adds up to 12 currencies at once, unlimited alerts and one and five year history. It renews automatically and you can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play settings.

The free version converts into 3 currencies at a time, plus your base currency. You can swap any of them in Settings. Pocketrate Pro shows up to 12 at once.
